Dr Olivia Earley MD FRCOphth is a consultant ophthalmologist with over 30 years experience. She has a fellowship from Duke University North Carolina, USA and St Thomas' Hospital London. She now works part-time in the NHS based at the Mater and Downe Hospital Cataract Surgical Unit. She provides private consultations at Ulster Independent Clinic every Wednesday Morning and Saturday Afternoon ( 1st and 3rd of each month )
Surgical caseload primarily is Cataract Surgery consisting of Phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implant. Ocular anaesthesia is non invasive utilising a topical approach.
She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmologists and a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists UK.
She has won a number of patient service awards - Hospital Doctor of the Year runner up in 1999, Charter Mark Awards 2002/2004.
