My name is Anthony Glackin. I am a Consultant Urologist working at The Newry Private Clinic and Orthoderm Private Medical Clinic. I have admitting rights for surgery at The Ulster Independent Clinic. I am a registered provider with AVIVA, AXA PPP, Vitality & WPA.
I provide investigation and treatment for bladder, prostate, testicle, penis & kidney problems. I offer surgery for Circumcision, Hydrocoele, Vasectomy, kidney stones and benign prostate enlargement (TURP) at UIC. I do not offer female incontinence surgery.
I have more than 12 years experience working as an NHS Consultant Urologist at the Southern Health & Social Care Trust where I lead the urology cancer multidisciplinary team.
I graduated in Medicine from University College Dublin in 1998. I was awarded a Doctorate from Queen's University Belfast in 2005 for research into the treatment of bladder cancer. I am a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. I completed Urological Training in 2012 in Birmingham, UK.
